My work is an exploration of traditional shibari in the lineage of Akechi Denki, that I study under Hajime Kinoko, and reimagined through a Western cinematic lens. I am drawn to dark atmospheres and vivid colors, using the controlled environment of the studio to magnify the beauty found in ropes.

My foundation remains rooted in the discipline and technical precision of original Japanese shibari ties to bring them into the light and transform them into art in these images.
